Homebirth, birth center, and water birth are available to healthy women expected to have normal labor and birth.

Families can expect to have 15 prenatal visits and 4 postpartum visits. Visits start at 4 week intervals until 28 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 36 wks, every week until birth.

ALL first time homebirth/center birth families are recommended to have a childbirth education course. Please ask for available classes in your area, all classes are pre-screened to meet my expectations and standard of education.
The Midwife and a trained assistant will attend your birth, provide all necessary procedures to keep mother and baby safe, provide postpartum care including suturing for 1st and 2nd degree tears.
A Newborn exam as well as care plans for mother baby will be performed.
Birth certificate and recommendations for follow up care will be discussed.
4 visits are routine, 24 hr, 3-5 day, 3 weeks, and 6 weeks.
Postpartum visits are done in the comfort of your home for the first 10-14 days. We want new families at home bonding with their new baby, not sitting in waiting rooms.
Each visit involves a complete evaluation of the Mother and Baby, breastfeeding support, and postpartum support recommendations.
Birth Certificate and SSN information is provided.
Full report is faxed to the newborns Pediatrician
PAP and Family Planning provided at 6 week exam if desired
Fees range from $2500-$5600 for our clients. Each client is different and enters into care with different needs and different circumstances. For this reason, we require some insights into your preferences, desires as well as insurance information before we can give you an accurate quote. Midwifery care is affordable. We provide many options for payment as well as work with some insurance companies. You will need to schedule a one on one consult to determine if you are a good candidate for Midwifery care.
